Our Custom CNC machining services

With over 200 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machines in China, Keyanng is ideal for you to outsource custom machined parts and precision machining services. We offer over 100 different types of materials and over 80 surface treatments and have extensive experience in seamlessly transitioning from prototyping to production machining.

CNC Milling

Compared to CNC turning, CNC milling, especially 5-axis milling, can be used to create complex 3D shapes or to apply machined surfaces or features to parts made of plastic and metal. The advantages of a multi-axis milling machine make the CNC milling process versatile, accurate, and repeatable for creating many different types of part features with complex geometries. Examples include holes, curves, slots, angled shapes, and channels. Milling is also ideal for making tools for pressure die casting and plastic injection molding.

CNC Turning

CNC lathes allow us to perform high-speed turning of plastics and metals in bars or blocks. The turning process allows the production of complex external and internal geometries, including the generation of various threads. For any round part such as shafts, worms, and spheres, CNC turning is a more efficient method than CNC milling. Keyanng’s turning capabilities can make prototypes into mass-produced parts.

Our standard tolerances for CNC machining of metals are DIN-2768-1-fine and DIN-2768-1-medium for plastics. Tolerances are greatly affected by part geometry and material type. When working with Keyanng, we guarantee that all parts will be manufactured to your specifications. If 2D drawings are not available, you can also use ISO 2678 to indicate.

CNC Finishes

Polishing: It is a process of rubbing the surface of a part using chemical action to make the surface smooth and shiny so that the surface is mirror-like.
Electroplating: The use of electrical current to reduce dissolved metal cations to form a thin metal coating on electrodes, changing the properties of machined metal surfaces or adding thickness to undersized parts.
Anodizing: An electrolytic passivation process forms a thin layer of aluminium oxide outside an aluminium CNC machined part, increasing the thickness of the natural oxide layer and protecting the metal.
Sandblasting: The process of propelling an abrasive stream of high-velocity sand grains into a metal surface to remove surface contaminants, clean the metal, or add texture, and then alter the surface’s smoothness or roughness.

Overview: What's CNC Machining?

CNC machining is a machining method that uses a computer to control the displacement of parts and tools. It is an effective way to solve the problems of changeable parts variety, small-batch, complex shape, and high precision and realize efficient and automatic processing.

The CNC machining process generates parts on a CNC machine from computer design files. The process will go through:

  1. Load CAD (Computer Aided Design) files into CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software
  2. Determine toolpaths based on part geometry
  3. CAM software creates digital instructions or G-codes that tell the machine what to do and how to do it
  4. CNC machine tool to perform operations as a programming language
  • CNC milling machine: The most common and largest variety of processing equipment, it refers to the use of CNC milling cutters to make circular motions on stationary parts and process milling parts with certain shapes and details, including slots, and holes, notches, grooves, etc.
  • CNC lathe: The technology of fixing the material block on a CNC turning center or a lathe and rotating at high speed while the tool is moved into the rotating shaft to process the workpiece to obtain CNC turning parts with precise dimensions.
  • CNC drilling machine: The workpiece is fixed, and the cutting process of aligning the center of the tool with the center of the hole and rotating to generate a round hole can be done on lathes and milling machines.
  • CNC turning and milling machine tool: both the tool and the workpiece rotate. The compound machining technology produces complex curved or special-shaped parts through various tasks designed.
  • Wire EDM: EDM parts from prototype to full production with tight tolerances and complex structures.
