Our Sheet Metal Fabrication Capabilities

Sheet metal fabrication is the most cost-effective option for custom sheet metal parts and prototypes with uniform wall thickness. Keyanng offers a wide range of sheet metal capabilities, from high quality cutting, stamping, bending to welding services.

Laser cutting

Laser cutting is a thermal cutting process that uses a high-power laser to cut metals and achieve high-quality prototype sheet metal parts. Applicable for all industries.

Cutting area: Up to 4000 x 6000 mm

Material thickness: Up to 50 mm

Laser sources: Up to 6 kW

Repeatability: Ps: +/- 0.05 mm

Position accuracy: Pa: +/- 0.1 mm

Plasma cutting

CNC plasma cutting is widely used in custom sheet metal services, it is especially suitable for custom cutting of thicker sheet metals.

Cutting area: Up to 4000 x 6000 mm

Material thickness: Up to 50 mm

Waterjet cutting

Waterjet cutting is quite a different sheet metal service for its non-thermal feature. It is especially useful for cutting very thick metals, including steel.

Maximum cutting area: Up to 3000 x 6000 mm

material thickness: Up to 300 mm

Bending

Bending is a common sheet metal forming method used to shape steel, stainless steel, aluminium parts and custom sheet metal prototypes after cutting process.

Metal folding capacity: Up to 200 tons

Maximum bending length: Up to 4000 mm

Maximum thickness: Up to 20 mm

Welding

Sheet metal welding process fuses two or more metal parts together with high heat to realize complex structure or requirements. Commonly used to make custom sheet metal prototypes.

Compairing with single sheet metal fabrication shops, we have experience and the right sheet metal fabrication services necessary to bring that your idea to life. This includes services like high tolerance and wide thickness range laser cutting, bending capabilities, and other post-processing options.

Sheet Metal FAQ

The type of cutting machine used depends on the chosen material and the gauge of the sheet, as well as factors like desired lead time and tolerances.

We know which projects need which equipment, so you don’t need to specify a particular cutting machine.

In general, a part that is cut, bent and punched will cost more than a part that is, for example, just cut using a laser cutter.

However, most sheet metal parts demand a combination of forming processes, and this will not increase the price by a drastic amount.

No. You can order a one-off prototype or 1,000+ units.
